Rich pictures

By way of quick summary, a rich picture is an effective tool for analysing the problems faced by diverse stakeholders within an organisation. Relatively simple in appearance, but surprisingly powerful too, rich pictures were developed within the Soft Systems Methodology by Peter Checkland for the purpose of gathering information about a complex situation, as analysis prior to the design process.
